It seems to be a trendy thing to use the word
heart instead of
love. Like...
I heart this. Or another example:
I heart San Diego. Well...I don't heart that way of talk. It sounds silly. In case you wanted my opinion on the matter.
Whatever happened to good old-fashioned
LOVE? Is the word
LOVE fading from our vocabulary as much as it is fading from our lives?

Hey, i really LOVE this blog..good point.
And, great roadshow..it was really fun, creative, clever. IT was just what a roadshow is supposed to be; fun music, lots of participation, not preachy but making a point. I really LOVED it.
Wow, do I have a thing or two on this one Jen. I heart you should be limited to those little sugar candies on Valentine's day. Here is the crux of misuse of language in the modern day...If someone is hot--they are actually cool. If I am down with that--I am actually up for it. The speed at which society has accelerated has not allowed us to linger in the beauty of the words themselves. Instead, we input symbols of the speed of technology to abbreviate our point. Is it any wonder then that words--one of the most powerful tools on earth have become so flaccid. I honestly believe that baggy pants and political correctness are at heart of this grave conspiracy. We will have to have a pickle someday soon and have a more philosophical discussion about this pressing issues. Until then...we love your heart and your blog...
