Apple Crisp

As I was making Sunday dinner today, I realized that both the main course and the dessert were recipes from dear friends of mine in Bountiful, Utah whom I served in the Stake Primary Presidency with. It brought back sweet memories. I would love to get together with you Luan and Linda!

Apple Crisp
Fill 9 x 9 greased baking dish with 4-5 peeled, sliced apples. Drizzle with 2 T melted butter. Sprinkle with 1/3 c. sugar mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon. Stir to coat apples.

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup butter

Put crumb mixture on top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream.
